UV Water Purifiers in The Villages, FL

Give us a call, 24/7 352-261-6293

Safeguard your household with ultraviolet (UV‑C) water purification designed for The Villages, FL. UV systems neutralize bacteria, viruses, and cysts without adding chemicals, so taste and odor remain unchanged while microbiological risks are controlled. Whether your supply is municipal or well water, we match the purifier to your home’s flow rate and water quality to deliver reliable disinfection day in and day out.

Every installation begins with a site review to confirm pressure, plumbing layout, and actual gallons‑per‑minute demand. We pair the UV chamber with proper prefiltration to keep sediment and turbidity low, then set isolation valves, a code‑compliant bypass, and sample ports for future testing. Systems are specified to the required dose, with options for NSF 55 Class A whole‑home units or compact point‑of‑use purifiers, and tubing runs are neat, labeled, and protected.

Before work starts you’ll receive an itemized proposal, followed by a clean install and startup verification using intensity readings and flow checks. Maintenance is straightforward: annual lamp replacement, quartz sleeve cleaning, sensor calibration when applicable, and periodic water tests for peace of mind. Service extends across The Villages, Lady Lake, Wildwood, Oxford, and Fruitland Park, and equipment and workmanship are backed by strong warranties.

If you have an overflowing toilet, a failed water heater, a clogged disposal, a burst pipe, a water leak, or another plumbing emergency, do not hesitate to call us.

UV Water Purification

Bring clinical‑grade disinfection to your tap with UV‑C technology that targets microorganisms while leaving minerals and taste intact. Systems are selected and sized around real‑world flow and dose requirements, then integrated with prefilters to ensure consistent performance in The Villages’ water conditions.

Fast Help for Water Safety Concerns

If you’re navigating a boil‑water advisory, recurring coliform positives, or concerns about well water hygiene, we can move quickly. After a brief assessment, we recommend a unit that fits your space and usage, coordinate any permits, and install with minimal disruption for kitchens, whole‑home entries, or specialty applications across The Villages and nearby communities.

Installation, Maintenance, and Verification

Your purifier is plumbed with isolation valves, a bypass, and sample points, then commissioned with measured intensity and flow so you can see that the system is delivering the intended dose. We provide a simple upkeep plan with lamp change intervals, sleeve care, and sensor checks, along with documentation you can reference for insurance, HOA, or future water tests.

UV Water Purifier FAQs - The Villages, FL
Do you install UV water purifiers in The Villages, FL?
Yes—we install point-of-entry and point-of-use UV systems to disinfect water for homes across The Villages.
What does a UV purifier do?
UV systems neutralize bacteria, viruses, and other microorganisms by exposing them to germicidal ultraviolet light as water passes by.
Do I still need filters with UV?
Yes—UV treats microbes, but sediment and carbon pre-filters are needed to remove particles and improve taste and clarity.
Is UV safe for drinking water?
UV adds no chemicals and leaves no taste or odor—it's a physical disinfection method approved for potable water treatment.
Where is the UV system installed?
Typically on the main line after filtration and before branches, or under-sink for point-of-use—depending on your goals.
How often do UV lamps need replacement?
Most lamps are replaced annually to maintain proper intensity; quartz sleeves are cleaned or swapped if fouled.
Do UV systems work during power outages?
UV needs power. We can add battery backup or recommend bypass/shutoff to prevent untreated water from passing during outages.
Will UV change water pressure?
Properly sized units maintain normal flow. We match the chamber and plumbing size to your household demand.
What maintenance is required besides lamp changes?
Keep pre-filters fresh, clean the quartz sleeve, check O-rings, and verify alarms or ballasts are functioning.
Can UV handle well water or municipal water?
Yes—for wells, pretreatment for sediment/iron may be needed. For municipal water, a carbon pre-filter plus UV is common.
Do you test water quality before installing UV?
We assess source water and turbidity to ensure UV will be effective and that the right pre-filtration is in place.
Is a sensor or alarm included?
Many systems have lamp-out alarms or intensity monitors; we can recommend models with the level of monitoring you prefer.
Can UV be combined with reverse osmosis?
Absolutely—UV is often paired with RO for comprehensive treatment: RO for dissolved solids, UV for microbial control.
What payment options do you offer for UV installations?
We accept major credit cards and contactless payments on-site; financing may be available for larger water treatment projects.

During our plumbing emergency we had to turn off the water to the house. We called many different plumbing companies and was told they couldn't come out till the next day. Clean Plumbers came to our aid within a couple of hours. Nathan was excellent. He was courteous, friendly and efficient. We will be calling Clean Plumbers for any future needs.
